BE YOURSELF
Are you different? Perfect, so are we! At Leonardo Hotels, it's your personality that counts. "We hire people, not certificates." This quote comes from Yoram Biton, our Managing Director Leonardo Hotels Central Europe. And that's exactly how we live it. With us, you can be who you are. Piercings, tattoos, colorful hair, unusual hairstyles – welcome. The Leonardo Family is made up of very different people, with different backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations or possible disabilities - this diversity makes us strong, every day. Diversity at Leonardo Hotels is not just a buzzword; it is an essential pillar of our corporate philosophy. It is at the heart of our success story and brings a wide range of different skills, experiences and perspectives to the Leonardo Family.
We are committed to diversity and take part in events such as the "Carnival of Cultures" in Berlin, Christopher Street Day (CSD) including the parades in the various regions and Pride Month in June. Our commitment also goes beyond mere participation – we are actively committed to ensuring that the values of diversity are anchored in all areas of our company. One outstanding example of this is the "Stuzubi Cup", which we launched. This is specially designed for trainees and students to actively participate in diversity-related projects and develop innovative ideas that not only have a positive impact on our work culture, but also on the guest experience in terms of diversity.
We are also proud signatories of the Diversity Charter, which promotes the recognition, appreciation and integration of diversity in our corporate culture. We see diversity not just as a corporate value, but as a source of creativity, innovation and success. The diversity of our teams is reflected not only in our employees, but also in the welcoming atmosphere we aim to create for our guests.
Diversity and tolerance, that's what we stand for. At Leonardo Hotels, everyone can live their individuality, regardless of origin, sexual or gender identity, religion or mental or physical impairments.

Inclusion
It is our responsibility and our heartfelt concern to offer people with different backgrounds and needs a wide range of employment opportunities. Each person brings different strengths and perspectives to the table and thus contributes to a lively and, above all, appreciative cooperation. In this way, diversity in all its forms enriches our Leonardo Family and also promotes our success. Read more about inclusion at Leonardo Hotels.
Our diversity is one of our strengths. With this in mind, we are actively committed to creating an inclusive working environment in which every employee has the opportunity to develop his or her full potential.
To achieve this goal, we work closely with the German “Einheitlichen Ansprechstellen für Arbeitgeber (EAAs)”, educational institutions, “Inklupreneur” and schools. These partnerships enable us to take targeted measures to promote the participation of people with different abilities and needs. Through joint projects and training courses, we raise awareness of inclusion and break down prejudices.
It is part of our philosophy not to think in pigeonholes. At Leonardo Hotels, we adapt the job to the person and not the other way around. This means that we take individual needs into account, from barrier-free access to special workplace adaptations. Every employee, regardless of their abilities, should feel welcome and valued by us.
In order to create a diverse environment, we not only place importance on the integration of people with different mental or physical abilities, but also on diversity in terms of gender, age, religion, origin and sexual or gender identity. An inclusive working environment not only promotes employee satisfaction, but also makes a significant contribution to a positive working atmosphere.
We are proud to be a company that is committed to inclusion. Together, we create an atmosphere in which each individual can develop his or her full potential and we grow together as a team. Inclusion at Leonardo Hotels is not just a goal, but a living corporate culture.

LeoDo
The teams at Leonardo Hotels are individually involved in various social projects in each region and country – and not just on special occasions such as Christmas, but throughout the year. All this commitment is summarized in the "LeoDo projects". We support e.g. disadvantaged children, children's hospices and homeless people through donations of money, goods and food as well as activities. We also organize a wide variety of activities in our hotels, such as leisure activities in the summer months, a lantern parade in the autumn and a Christmas party on Christmas Eve for children with cancer.
Sustainablity
“Corporate responsibility is our guiding principle and is reflected in our high level of social engagement and in our work with local communities and people with special needs. We always keep the environment in mind and comply with the standards of corporate governance for a public company. We are constantly looking for opportunities to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment both on the global and local scale through various programs,” says David Fattal (Founder Fattal Hotel Group). You can find out more about our sustainability strategy in the overview.
In 2019, the Fattal Hotel Group prepared and published its first sustainability report, which describes the current projects and measures in the area of sustainability and analyzes the most important impacts of the Fattal Hotel Group on its environment. The projects included e.g. the Green Key Ecolabel, photovoltaic systems, Levantine cuisine (low-meat, sustainable, regional) and participation in climate initiatives such as Earth Hour and the "Too Good To Go" food rescue initiative.
We also strive to develop a culture of giving and volunteering and encourage our employees to get actively involved. The opportunity to improve the lives of others is a privilege, and actively helping or donating is a great way to reinforce our company values. In the various hotels/regions and departments, there are numerous social projects that are supported locally.
The Fattal Hotel Group also provides hotels for children suffering from cancer. During their treatment, the children have to undergo intensive chemotherapy or daily treatments over several days or even weeks. To help these children and their families, Leonardo Hotels is setting up 5 hotels in Haifa and Tel Aviv as medical centers where the families can stay with the children during their treatment and recharge their batteries. "Of all the things we do, this action fills me with the most pride," said David Fattal (Founder Fattal Hotel Group).
