Your main duties
- Supervise hotel housekeeping staff to meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Liaise with the housekeeping supervisor regarding staff rostering
- Organize routine and extraordinary housekeeping duties
- Organize, coordinate and manage all housekeeping operations
- Monitor all daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleaning of all guest rooms and common areas
- Monitor that hygiene standards are being met
- Inspect rooms to ensure that company cleaning standards are met
- Monitor supplies and manage inventory (linens, amenities, cleaning products)
- Take inventory, write up orders, and ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies
- Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any problems such as room damage or maintenance requests
Your profile
- BE YOURSELF - Be authentic and yourself
- Previous experience in housekeeping management in hospitality as an Executive Housekeeper or similar position
- Demonstrate commitment to customer service
- Excellent organizational, communication, management, accuracy and confidentiality skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner
- Leadership and ability to motivate the team
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team of floor maids and porters
- Thorough knowledge of products, tools and practices for cleaning rooms and common areas
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Good knowledge of the English language
