Our Leonardo Academy programs
Different career stages need different development opportunities.
That is why the Leonardo Academy offers four programs, each designed for a specific target group and development focus.
Accelerate
The Program is perfect for you if you
- are at the beginning of your career and want to actively shape your development within Leonardo Hotels.
- want to discover your strengths, talents and personal development opportunities.
- are motivated to build confidence, improve your communication skills and create your individual career plan.
- want to exchange with colleagues from different hotels and departments and grow your internal network.
Management
The Program is perfect for you if you
- are working in a first leadership role, such as Supervisor, Shiftleader or a comparable position.
- want to strengthen your communication, self-management and leadership skills.
- are ready to understand the shift from employee perspective to leadership perspective.
- want to learn how to guide your team in daily operations and exchange leadership experiences with colleagues from other hotels.
Expert
The Program is perfect for you if you
- are working as a Department Head or in a comparable leadership role.
- want to further develop your leadership skills and optimize the performance of your team.
- are interested in handling team dynamics, conflict situations and collaboration more effectively.
- want to work on a practical project, exchange with other leaders and develop ideas that can create real impact in daily hotel operations.
Expert Senior
The Program is perfect for you if you
- are an experienced leader, Hotel Manager or Director of a cluster department.
- want to broaden your strategic perspective and strengthen your business understanding.
- are ready to exchange with peers on complex leadership and organizational challenges.
- are interested in implementing a project that has an impact on the entire company.
- want to work on a strategic project that can be transferred into practice and contribute to the future development of Leonardo Hotels.
Our application process
First talk to your supervisors and the HR manager about your interest in participating in the Leonardo Academy.
After everyone has been informed about your interest, you can upload your CV and a letter of motivation via the program announcements (see below).
Together with your HR manager, you define your personal career goals and your expectations of the Leonardo Academy. This initial interview serves as the basis for the development program.
Via our main communication tool "LEAPP" you will receive all the necessary information, dates, the list of participants, invitations to the trainings, etc.
Get to know your colleagues who are also taking part in the program. Network, have fun and work together on your career goals.

- What documents do I need to submit for my application?
After consultation with the HR team and your supervisor, we need a letter of motivation and your CV.
- What does the letter of motivation need to include?
Explain to us why you want to participate in the Leonardo Academy. What are your career goals and how do you hope the Academy will help you achieve them?
- In which language do the trainings take place?
All programs are held entirely in English
- How does the assessment work?
After submitting your application, the HR team will contact you to arrange an appointment. During the meeting with your HR Manager, you will go through a short questionnaire about your motivation, expectations and development goals for the Academy Program. The conversation helps us to better understand your profile and to identify which Academy group fits best to your current role and next development step. After the application phase has been completed, all applicants will receive feedback on their participation and the Academy group they will join.
- What format should my application be in?
We recommend submitting attachments in PDF format.
- How large are the training groups?
The groups consist of about 15 employees from Central Europe.
- Is it possible to participate in the Academy even if I am not employed by Leonardo Hotels?
