Your Main Duties
- Financial management of the hotels belonging to the Leonardo Hotels chain in Budapest, managing and performing the accounting, taxation and controlling tasks of the related companies, ensuring compliance with legislation
- Organizing and managing the work of the Accounting Department
- Managing and performing accounting and taxation tasks
- Preparing the statutory financial statements and carrying out the annual audits
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Preparation of monthly forecasts
- Preparation and presentation of monthly P&L reports
- Preparation of quarterly reports and cash flow forecasts
- Preparation of IFRS and other reports, calculations and presentations as required by the owners and management
- Financial review of contracts
- Support for management decisions
- Continuous monitoring of expenditure, strict cost management
- Cash management, preparing weekly bank transfers
- Control of accounts receivable from customers, recovery of overdue receivables
- Supervising the invoicing of rents and expenses to be re-charged
- Ongoing contact with the Company's internal departments and external contractors
Your Profile
- BE YOURSELF - Be authentic and yourself
- Degree in Management, Finance or Accounting
- Registered chartered accountant, experience in accounting, taxation and balance sheet preparation
- Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax legislation
- Minimum 5 years' experience in finance or accounting managing positions
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Previous work experience in an international company
- Ability to understand and manage complex processes
- Good communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) knowledge is an advantage
- Hotel accounting experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of HostWare and RLB software is an advantage
